Reshaping What It Means to Be a Payment Processing Company

Is anyone excited about working with their credit card processor?
Judging by feedback from hundreds of thousands of merchants we’ve had the opportunity to interact with, the answer is usually no.
We’re here to change that.
Suede was created because our founders didn’t like theirs either. After many failed attempts to find a provider that was right for us, we decided to create our own.
In 2007, in the backroom of one of our many retail cell phone stores, we started Suede.
Our focus on nurturing growth and creating value for our clients set us apart, driving rapid grassroots growth.
Today, our business provides point-of-sale hardware and processing services to hundreds of business partners and more than 300,000 merchant locations nationwide who process billions in annual sales volume.
With the industry’s best and brightest leadership leading the way – and a new strategic partnership with Lovell Minnick Partners – we’ve transitioned from a passion project to a full-blown Fintech company.

Now, we're better positioned than ever to become the payment processing provider that everyone wants to do business with!
This inflection point seemed like the perfect time to develop a new brand identity that symbolizes who we are.
We chose Suede because it is elevated, timeless, flexible; a touch of luxury without pretension. Suede is something you can look forward to using, that feels just right, and that – through responsibility, care, and nurturing – just gets better with time.
Thanks for stopping by. We’re excited to welcome you into the Suede family.
No Matter Your Path, Suede Has Your Back
Whether you need payment processing to power your business or you’re a merchant service provider other companies rely on, Suede has the all-in-one payment techh and expertise to power your payment goals.
